The E-commerce Berlin Expo 2026 marks a special milestone: the 10th edition of one of Europe’s most influential e-commerce events. With 340+ exhibitors, over 14,000 industry professionals expected and a new venue, Messe Berlin, this year’s anniversary edition promises an even more dynamic mix of innovation, strategy, and inspiration shaping the future of digital commerce.

But before the event arrives, one of the most exciting stages of preparation is already underway: the Call for Speakers contest.
Empowering the e-commerce industry
The Call for Speakers contest has become a defining feature of the Expo over the years. It’s not just about filling the agenda – it’s about co-creating it with the community. Each year, professionals from across the e-commerce spectrum, from online retailers and technology providers to marketers and logistics experts, submit their ideas for the topics they believe should take the spotlight on stage.
Through a combination of public voting and expert evaluation by our industry Advisors, the contest gives everyone in the industry a voice in shaping the conversations that matter most. Once the voting closes, the submissions that resonate the most with the community rise to the top as finalists.
A record-setting year
This year’s edition broke new ground yet again, with an incredible 950 submissions received and over 25, 000 votes cast during the public voting phase.
The level of engagement speaks volumes about the passion, creativity, and diversity of the e-commerce community. Each idea submitted reflected a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry today.

What happens next?
Now, the spotlight turns to our Advisors, a panel of experienced industry leaders. Over the coming days, they will carefully review the finalists’ submissions, evaluating them for originality, relevance, and practical value to ensure that each presentation brings something truly meaningful to the stage.
After this evaluation phase, the Advisory Board will select one winner per category, ensuring that every chosen speaker embodies the very best of what the e-commerce world has to offer.
Wildcard selection track
To make sure no great idea goes unheard, we’re once again introducing the Wildcard selection track, giving our Advisors the chance to handpick 15 additional speakers who might not have reached the final round by votes alone but whose ideas are too valuable to miss.
This track ensures that groundbreaking voices still find their way to the stage, even if they fly slightly under the radar during voting.
October 30th: Winners announcement
The wait won’t be long, the final winners will be announced on October 30th, 2025, revealing the talented professionals who will take the stage at the E-commerce Berlin Expo 2026 and shape the dialogue at one of Europe’s most anticipated e-commerce gatherings.
